Error when trying to download Maproulette Tasks, after updating the plugin

Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. With Maproulette plugin installed, download tasks for your selected area
  2. This action triggers an exception. A dialog box appears, stating the error was probably caused by the Maproulette plugin. And offers to update the plugin.
  3. I select plugin update, and then another window appeared: you have encountered a bug in JOSM.

What is the expected result?

After clicking the download button, the available tasks should be made available in the Maproulette task layer.

What happens instead?

JOSM's Maproulette plugin appears to try to download task, but instead a dialog box appears, asking me to update Maproulette plugin again.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

This looks like a duplicate of #24759.
I can reproduce the problem, but I fear I cannot help. The plugin is not maintained by the JOSM team and I seem to be unable to open an issue for it on Github: https://github.com/JOSM/MapRoulette

The owner will be changed from taylor.smock to anonymous. Next status will be 'assigned'.
