steps: open a gpx trace, convert to data layer, click the save button in symbols bar, (new popup window: gpx save ...) hit cancel. Name in layer manager changes to the orignal gpx name. I would expext the layer being named as before (""Konvertiert von: ..."") as it is still a data layer.

interestingly this seems to only happen for local gpx files. If the gpx is opened from an URL (e.g. http://www.openstreetmap.org/trace/1350010/data ) it saves into a data file.

if you use ""export to gpx"" instead of ""save"" it does not trigger the bug.
