9616	Preferences menu location on OS X	dbr	dbr	"When running on Mac OS X, there is an inconsistency with where the menu items appear:

Most of them menu items appear on the main window, instead of in the operating system's standard location in the top ""menu bar"" (at top of screen, starting with the Apple icon)

However, the ""Preferences"" menu item appears in the standard location under the ""JOSM"" menu next to the Apple icon. I almost couldn't work out how to open the preferences, as I expected it to be under the ""Edit"", ""Tools"" or ""Windows"" menu

I guess ideally the menus would be moved into the standard location on OS X. Alternatively having the preferences item appear in the non-standard (but consistent) location would be just as good"	defect	closed	minor		Core		invalid	mac osx
