7980	Out of Heap Memory	pinkduck	team	"I run JOSM stable with the -Xmx768M command line on Windows 7 x64. If I do 14 separate edits, each downloading a different area of OSM data, adding Bing layer, adding StreetView layer, making edits, uploading data and deleting Bing, StreetView and OSM layers to get back to the default window then an Out of Heap Memory exception is given by around the 15th time.

Shouldn't the memory required for use by these layers be freed each time I close them out to get back to the main screen? Or shouldn't the cache of tiles be prevented from exceeding the maximum heap size assigned to the Java run-time instance?"	defect	closed	normal		Core	tested	fixed
