Currently there it is that feature in Tools -> Add Node (also Shift + D) where someone can add a node with precise coordinates. However only the GG.GGGGGG (decimal degrees) input format is accepted.  

Output coordinates format can be selected in Preferences -> Map Projection -> Display coordinates as... I think the ""Add Node"" input format should be the same as the format selected (or at least have an option to change it from the default GG.GGGGGG).
