5180	Can't change external download helper for WMS plugin	echokilo17@…	echokilo17@…	"This is happening with v 3329 (tested), first on Ubuntu but then I checked on XP and it's the same.

I want to use `gnome-web-photo --mode=photo --format=png {0} /dev/stdout` as an external downloader for the WMS plugin, but apparently when I change this it is not saved in the preferences. If I reopen the prefs dialog then the external downloader is set back to the default: `webkit-image {0}`.

In order to test things out I tried to change other options, like adding other WMS servers and changing the checkboxes on the bottom, everything works/is saved fine except the external downloader option.

This results in the red ""exception"" tiles, meaning an unusable WMS plugin. I could of course try to install`webkit-image`, but the whole point of having an option is to be able to use it, right? ;)

I tried to see if I could mess with the prefs files to hard-code the external helper, but I guess those are binary files, so no luck. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong to change the external downloader, or if this is indeed a bug."	defect	closed	normal Core imagery	latest	fixed
