When undertaking a download or other task (eg importing images, landsat,
map download etc etc) a progress dialogue box is open in front of the main
JOSM window. If however I change the focus away from JOSM, on return I am 
not seeing the progress dialogue box, despite the fact that the activity 
is still in progress. If I try to do something in JOSM before the progress
has completed then JOSM becomes unresponsive to new activity requiring a
progress box, at least that's what I think is happening in this last
respect.

Also, when a progress box first opens it displays the progress pint when
the last use completed (ie the progress bar is full and the legend 
indicates the last action). It would be better and less confusing if the 
box opened empty of information until the new usage is assigned.
