The steps to reproduce are unclear. JOSM has been opened several hours (and a hibernation) ago, and was in the background since then, when the error message appeared.

The long error message is shown in a narrow window's title and so its end is cut off.
The window's content only shows an X sign and 2 buttons, but not the error message, a description or any other text.

I'm reporting this error because the help page that was opened by clicking on the help button recommended that I do so.
