==== What is the expected result?

I should see all files and directories in my home directory. I should be able to navigate to any subdirectory in my home directory or any other directory that I have permissions to.

It should list all files that match the current file type filter.

==== What happens instead?

In my home directory I only see the ""Downloads"" directory. I can't see any other directory. I also see no *.osm or any other matching file in my home directory even if such files exist.

When I change to the Downloads directory, I can see matching files and also can change to subdirectories.

I can select some other system directories like /tmp but again *.osm files are not listed.
