What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Select way with soup of tags including

lanes:backward=1
lanes:forward=2
lanes=3
turn:lanes=left|through;right

2. run validator

3. become confused

What is the expected result?

Number of lanes greater than turn:lanes (1)

What happens instead?

Number of lanes greater than *:lanes (1)
