1. Open the Preferences dialog

==== What is the expected result?
The icons have a readable and distinguishable size. Preferably they are of the same size like in the toolbar for visual continuity in the program.

==== What happens instead?
On OS X/macOS: the icons are so tiny the user can't recognize them at all.
On the other hand, on Windows they are so huge that the user isn't able to see them entirely and scroll buttons in the icon panel are needed.
