1. Change an item, then export it.

One ends up needing to:
1. Change an item.
1. Click OK (whereupon all of Preferences Closes!)
2. Click Edit
2. Click Preferences
3. Click Advanced Preferences
3. Go find that item all over again, if indeed you remember it
4. Click that item
3. Click Export Selected Items

My new improved way would only require:
1. Change an item.
1. Click OK
4. Click that item
3. Click Export Selected Items

That is because my improved way removes the knee-jerk closing of
Preferences.

So if OK no longer closes Preferences, how will one close it?
