1. Load the [https://josm.openstreetmap.de/attachment/ticket/14579/Sep%2016%20photos.joz session file] attached to #14579
2. Change the selected image twice by clicking on the camera icons
3. Change the selected image twice by clicking on the `next` button in the image viewer window
4. Observe that the highlighted camera icon and the direction arrow are not always updated, but the file name in the viewer window ''is'' updated
5. Right-click and drag to move the viewport and observe that the layer is now updated
