1.) Open JOSM.

2.) Create a new layer.

2.) Create a node.

3.) Add a tag to this node: “name=𠀐𠀑”. (The value is “\U20010\U20011”.)

4.) Save the layer.

5.) Close the layer.

6.) Open again the file that you have saved.

Expected result: The “name” key still has the same value.

Actual result: The “name” key has the value “𠀐𠀐𠀑”.

Comment: Note the the file is created correctly. But JOSM does not open it correctly again. I had the same problem also when opening Overpass querries in JOSM. Only when downloading directly from the OSM API, there seems to be no problem."	defect	closed	major		Core		duplicate
