The behavior that when I paste it shows me the posted items in another position is not useful when I copy roads from one layer and I want to paste in another layer, at the same position. 

It may be useful for when you copy and paste a building and you want to put it to the next building, but for working with multiple layers, almost all the time you want the copy paste to happen in the same position. 

Another version would be to be able to choose the default setting. You want the default to be paste in place or to be pase in th center of the screen. "	enhancement	new	normal		Core shortcuts	latest
