Use WMS / TMS layers supporting different projections

You then need to do the following each time you switch what tiles you use:
1. Hit F12 to open preferences
2. Click Map Settings
3. Depending on projection I need, one of:
   a. Select from ""Projection method""
   b. The more common case for me, select ""By Code (EPSG)""
     1. Type in the required number in search box
     2. Click the single projection that matches that search in the box below (why can't it figure out I want EPSG:3009 when I already typed 3009?).

==== What is the expected result?
On the fly transformation to the displayed projection for the tiles, or at least an easier way to switch between the projections in question. Maybe allow bookmarking a number of projections, binding them to hotkeys?

In my case, I would need to bind 4 different projections for easy access. But I think JOSM transforming the images on the fly would be far superior when it comes to the user experience (though I understand it would also be much more complicated and performance intensive to implement, especially since JOSM currently does software rendering, from my understanding at least, the OpenGL plugin still has a long way to go before it is production ready).
