107	Menu items should not vanish	johnw	imi	It can be very confusing for users when menu items disappear.  E.g. I spent ages searching around for the menu to import photos.  I knew I'd used it in the past, but I couldn't find it.  With hindsight I know it was removed because I didn't have a gpx layer selected.  This is poor UI design, it should remain visible and a message should appear when it's clicked explaining that photos can only be imported when a gpx layer is selected -- that way the user learns instead of becoming frustrated and suicidal.	defect	closed	major		Core	latest	wontfix
